The Alberta Family Histories Society has free genealogy databases as well as publications for purchase and a membership by subscription.

Our Library offers about 11,000 items related to genealogical research. The collection is broad but does have an emphasis on materials pertaining to Alberta, the United Kingdom, Ontario, and the rest of Canada.

Everyone can research at our facility. In order to sign out non-reference materials, you must be an AFHS member. Materials can be signed out for a one-month loan period.
