The Clarion Free Library in Pennsylvania has onsite genealogy collections and accepts research requests.



Onsite Collections

The genealogy/county history room contains two digital microfilm readers.  These machines can print and digitize.  The microfilm collection contains local newspaper archives from the late 1800s.  Genealogical resources include obituary indexes, cemetery records, and local history books.

Research Requests & Lookups

CFL staff will perform genealogical searches for specific materials or information, such as obituaries or birth dates. The search fee for each specific search is $10.00. Advance payment is required. Please contact library staff for details. Make checks payable to Clarion Free Library.
