The Cornwall Family History Society in Cornwall, England has online resources and onsite records to help people research their family history in Cornwall. They have a couple online collections that are free for everyone to search, others are for members only. Anyone can become a member of the Cornwall Family History Society for a fee.

- Female Convict Records – Female Convicts sent to Tasmania, During the latter part of 2014, the society was approached by the Female Convict Research Centre in Tasmania asking if we would consider helping them with their project. They had the names of a number of Cornish female convicts on their database and wanted our help in tracing their Cornish roots.

The Cornwall Family History Society has many membership options including by locale, with the journal only, with the journal and research databases, etc.
Cornwall Family History Society (CFHS) charges £10.00 to members and £15.00 to non-members for up to one hour research into your enquiry. This is payable in advance and is non-refundable. We would advise you if we feel your enquiry will take longer to answer fully and we would be pleased to work to your budget guide for extended research. CFHS does not guarantee a result but we will do our best to answer your enquiry with the resources available to us and within your budget guide.
