This is a free Canadian database for land grant applications in the Gaspé District of Quebec, Canada. These free land records are provided by Library and Archives Canada and can be useful in genealogy and family history research. They can be searched by surname or given name.

“The Gaspé Land Commissioners were appointed in 1819 to hear and determine all applications for grants of land by persons holding or claiming to hold lands in the Gaspé District. They had power to grant lands. The records include proceedings, reports, newspaper announcements and land grants.”
