German Emigration Database (German: Deutsche Auswanderer-Datenbank) is “a research project on European emigration to the United States of America. The database contains information on persons who have left Europe mainly via German ports to the USA during the period 1820 to 1897, 1904 and partly 1907.”

“With the help of the German Emigration Database, you can search for your ancestors. Please inform yourself about the current data stock. The basis for the German emigration database is the passenger lists of the emigrants. For some emigrants, additional information is also available.”
