Loudon County Virginia Clerk of the Circuit Court holds Loudon County Virginia Historic Records and Deeds Research.
“Loudoun is one of only a few counties in the Commonwealth that has records dating from its formation in 1757 from Fairfax County. The Historic Records and Deed Research division includes all historic court records 1757-1980s and land records from 1757-present.Research can be conducted by using both in-house and online databases and paper indexes.”

“Historic Records is located in the basement of the Clerk of the Circuit Court’s office which can be accessed through the main courthouse entrance at 18 E. Market Street, directly across from the post office. After going through court security, proceed to the third floor, Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. The Historic Records & Deed Research Division can be accessed by the stairs or by the elevator (press B2) both located at the far end of the 3rd floor Clerks’ office. The division’s entrance is located to your right when you exit the elevator and to your right from the stair well. All patrons must come through court security at the main entrance. “
