“The Martin County Historical Society, located at the Pioneer Museum in Fairmont, Minnesota, contains artifacts, historical documents, and pictures relating to county history dating back to the mid-1800s. The society presents special programs for K-12 students and the public throughout the year. Their contributions to Minnesota Reflections consist of photographs of the county including street scenes, unique and historic buildings, lake scenes, and agricultural images that reflect the historic development of the county. The addition of historic maps and plat books provides additional historic perspectives of Martin County.”
