This is a list of free Mexico Genealogy Records at FamilySearch.

Included are Mexico birth records, marriage records, death records, census records, land records, military records and more. We’ll continue to add more Mexico collections available online at FamilySearch. If you’re looking for onsite collections, visit their website & catalog.

Some of these records have a searchable name index, others have browsable images, a few have both an index and images, and some link to individuals in the FamilySearch family tree.

This list prioritizes indexed collections, but if you can’t find your Mexican ancestor there, the list includes online image collections which take longer to search, but have a treasure trove of information.

These collections are all free to search. You’ll need to be logged in with a free FamilySearch account to search some of these records.
