This is a list of free Ohio Genealogy Records at FamilySearch and includes online birth indexes, death indexes, census records, military records, images and more.

Some of these records have a searchable name index, others have browsable images, a few have both an index and images, and some link to individuals in the FamilySearch family tree.

This list prioritizes indexed collections, but if you can’t find your Ohio ancestor there, the list includes online image collections which take longer to search, but are a treasure trove of information.
