Project Runeberg

“is a volunteer effort to create free electronic editions of classic Nordic (Scandinavian) literature and make them openly available over the Internet.” They have an alphabetic catalog which lists hundreds of titles in several languages. Electronic books include biographies, poems, genealogies, classics and more. Most are in the Nordic languages as well as a few that are available in English.

The project has an editorial office at Linköping University in Sweden and is run by the LYSATOR Academic Computer Society. They are always accepting new volunteers and electronic materials.
