The Regional State Archives in Stavanger (Norwegian: Statsarkivet i Stavanger) is part of the National Archives of Norway (Norwegian: Riksarkivet).
The Regional State Archives in Stavanger is responsible for receiving, preserving, and making available material from local and regional state administrations in Rogaland county. Digitized genealogical collections have been submitted to the Digital Archives at the National Archives of Norway. Collections that have not yet been digitized can be viewed on-site, depending on privacy rules.
