Research in England; an essay to aid the student, is an online version of a book by J. Henry Lea, published by the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS), in 1905.

It shows the earlier date of records for each county in England and the applicable court and location (as of 1905). Also information about church records and registers in England.
