The Rhode Island Digital Collection has many helpful books for studying Rhode Island’s founding, conflicts with natives of the region, charters, and more.

“The John Carter Brown Library and the Redwood Library and Athenaeum are Rhode Island institutions with distinct, but complementary, collections. To lay the foundation for a Rhode Island History Digital Collection the two libraries are collaborating on a project to scan the unique documents representing the earliest chapters of the region.”
