She specializes in photo preservation and teaches courses in digital photo organization and preservation.  “I started researching my own family history in 1997 as a school project, and never looked back! In 1999, I moved to the US for college, and somehow ended up staying, so now I live just outside of Chicago where I run my business The Swedish Organizer, LLC full-time. On top of it all, I run two blogs: Searching Scandinavia (which you are visiting now), and OrganizingPhotos.net.”

“I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), the Association of Personal Photo Organizers (APPO), the Association of Personal Historians (APH), as well as theAssociation of Professional Genealogists (APG), the National Genealogical Society (NGS), DIS-Sverige (the Computer Genealogy Society of Sweden), Ystadbygdens Släkt- & Bygdeforskarförening (The Genealogy Society of Ystad, Sweden), and Österlens Släk- och Folklivsforskarförening (the Genealogy Society of Österlen, Sweden).”
