The Sherburne County Historical Society runs the Sherburne History Center and in addition to collecting and displaying historical artifacts related to the pioneer history of Minnesota, they operate a research room with helpful genealogy collections for researchers.

They have many more on-site collections and offer RESEARCH SERVICES for a fee for anyone who is unable to make an onsite visit.

“The Sherburne County Historical Society helps the people of this Central Minnesota county develop an appreciation for the area’s settlement and history. The historical society operates the Sherburne History Center in Becker, Minnesota, where it collects, preserves and interprets the history of Sherburne County. Our Minnesota Reflections contribution includes images of the Charles M. Babcock house in Elk River, buildings of historic significance in Becker, the 1903 plat book of Sherburne County and 1898 Mississippi River maps.”
