The Sons & Daughters of the First Settlers of Newbury, Massachusetts was founded in 1927 and is a genealogical society with the purpose of preserving the history of Newbury, Massachusetts and the history of the pioneer families in this community.

They have a list of heads of families who settled Newbury prior to 1700.

“The Sons & Daughters of the First Settlers of Newbury is a lineal society. …To be eligible to join the organization, you must establish that you are a direct descendant from a First Settler of Newbury prior to 1700.” Visit their Membership site for information on joining their society.
