“The archivists at the St. Benedict’s Monastery, home of the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota, document the history and mission of this Catholic order with more than 4,000 artifacts dating to 1857. The monastery contributed to Minnesota Reflections images of the sisters and their missions in towns across the state. The photographs show the convent, grade schools and high schools, hospitals, the orphanage in St. Joseph, the White Earth Mission and portraits.”
