The Regional State Archives in Kristiansand (Norwegian: Statsarkivet i Kristiansand) is part of the National Archives of Norway (Norwegian: Riksarkivet).
The Regional State Archives in Kristiansand is responsible for receiving, preserving, and making available material from local and regional state administrations in Aust-Agder and Vest-Agder counties. Digitized genealogical collections have been submitted to the Digital Archives at the National Archives of Norway. Collections that have not yet been digitized can be viewed on-site, depending on privacy rules.
