Morales de Escárcega Collection “Having survived a tragic loss as a young man during the Mexican Revolution, Mr. Morales Díaz dedicated his life to the study and understanding of Mexican History. With few possessions including books, the family moved to Puebla. He started collecting more books in the early 1920s, building the library over time by adding important manuscripts and broadsides. These materials regard the treatment of Mexicans, crime along the border, extraditions, and other matters. The Morales de Escárcega Collection includes over 2000 books, just under 80 broadsides and manuscripts, as well as some photographs. Included in this digital collection are the manuscripts and broadsides included in the collection.”

Records of the Secretaria de Fomento, Colonizacion e Industria, 1873-1903, 1920 “Nine documents, mostly handwritten, pertaining to grants of land made to Juan Rochel and Jose Rico in Altar, Sonora, Mexico.”
Records of the Compania Constructora Richardson, S.A., 1904-1968 “Photographs comprise the major part of the collection; legal papers and descriptive material are also included. The photos document the company projects from the excavation stages to completed dams. Also depicted are the port city of Guaymas and other Sonoran locations, Yaqui Indians, petroglyphs, the Richardson family and home…”

University of Arizona Yearbooks 1903-2005 “This digital collection of the University of Arizona yearbooks contains a complete run of The Desert from its first issue in 1903 through its final issue in 2005. The yearbook began annual publication in 1913 under the name El Sahuaro with the name changed to The Desert the following year. The yearbooks document student activities as well as campus life and contain photographs and information about the university including: homecoming, graduating classes, athletic events, student organizations and faculty.”
