Idaho State Archives (Idaho State Historical Society)

The Idaho State Archives is run by the Idaho State Historical Society and they have online collections for genealogy and family history, onsite collections, historic sites and artifacts, and more. The Idaho State Archives are free to all and membership in the Idaho State Historical Society includes benefits such as free admission to historic sites and store discounts. The Illinois State Archives maintains online statewide records and has seven Illinois Regional Archive Depositories (IRAD) for local government records. They also collaborate with the Illinois State Library and host the Illinois Digital Archives. Stewart Indian School, Nevada, official site

"Welcome to the Stewart Indian School web site. The Stewart Indian School served as an off-reservation boarding school from 1890 through 1980, and its stone buildings are an icon of education and life for many American Indians in the West. After the school closed, the buildings were emptied and many became home to state offices. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is comprised of 83 buildings."

Stevens County Historical Society

The Stevens County Historical Society began as the War Records Office in 1921 but has roots in the Old Settlers Association founded in 1876. They collect documents and artifacts of all types related to the settlement of Minnesota, especially Morris, Minnesota and its environs. "Located in Morris, Minnesota, the Stevens County Historical Society (SCHS) works diligently to collect the best examples of historical artifacts of life on the prairie. SCHS began as the War Records Office in 1921, but its roots reach back to the Old Settlers Association, founded in 1876. St. Benedict’s Monastery

"The archivists at the St. Benedict's Monastery, home of the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota, document the history and mission of this Catholic order with more than 4,000 artifacts dating to 1857. The monastery contributed to Minnesota Reflections images of the sisters and their missions in towns across the state. The photographs show the convent, grade schools and high schools, hospitals, the orphanage in St. Joseph, the White Earth Mission and portraits."

St. Croix Watershed Research Station

"The mission of the St. Croix Watershed Research Station, the environmental research station of the Science Museum of Minnesota located on the St. Croix River just south of Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota, is to foster a better understanding of the ecological systems of the St. Croix River basin and watersheds worldwide. Founded in 1989, the station is a center for long-term ecological research studies of land-water interaction. Collections of the J.W.G.
